It is possible to bring a reasonable amount of liquor or tobacco into Honduras for personal consumption. Duties apply to tobacco (more than 1 lb), new electronics, plants, and motor vehicles.

Honduran regulations require an airway bill or bill of lading to go with each shipment entering the country. It must be an original hardcopy and not a replication or copy. In addition a commercial invoice and a packing
slip will be required for clearance. Plant products must include a Quarantine Certificate. All documents should be printed clearly in Spanish. Note that all goods must have a declared value of at least $1. Goods without a
declared value will not be accepted or will be subject to fines.
